(Formerly Summer Shootout)

Halifax Co. Gun Club
Come join us for this very popular annual event. In past years, this skeet shoot was called the "Summer Shootout," but we changed the name this year in memory of long-time Board Member and Facilities Chairman, Clarence Morris Jr. Clarence was an invaluable member of the club for many years. He was responsible for the design and implementation of many of the upgrades to the skeet, and trap ranges. However, most significantly, is his design and construction of the extremely impressive 5 Stand facility that shares his name.

Concealed Carry/Firearms Classes
The club now has two options for Concealed Carry Courses.
Jeff Leslie: Jeff is a retired police firearms instructor trained by the FBI and Secret Service. Jeff has a number of additional class offerings as noted below.
Charles Newby: is a Certified Concealed Carry instructor who has conducted dozens of classes over the years through our club.
Contact information is noted below for each along with Jeff's additional firearms courses. These classes are not managed by the club but are taught here, so please contact Jeff or Charles directly to sign-up or request more information.

Jeff is a NRA Certified Instructor with additional training certifications to allow offering the following courses:
-NRA CCW, Concealed Carry
-Handgun Fundamentals
-Concealed Carry Options/Drawing
-Home Defense Handgun/Shotgun
-Youth .22 Rifle Instruction
